The report will be implemented Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Association (VUSTA), Asian Management and Development Institute (AMDI), a main member of the association is assigned to perform.

The main contents of the report will include 3 main parts with 12 topics, provide an overview of the situation and response to climate change in Vietnam, concurrently analyze the contribution of the community in response to climate change.

The report will give clues and policy vision of community participation in the climate change response activities in Vietnam.

Currently, Vietnam has some reports on climate change, but these reports cover major issues of environment and climate, the approach from top to bottom and without participation of independent research organizations, civil society organizations and communities, so they did not fully reflect the views of the related parties who directly participated in efforts to address climate change in Vietnam, Mr. Ngo Cong Chinh, lead author of project, said at the Launch Conference on building an annual climate change report in Vietnam.

Every annual report topic will be chosen according to the actual and proper situation with the theme of the party conference on Climate Change (COP) of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
