Recycling, reuse of wastes - the model needs to be replicated
Realizing that the amount of waste in the school and at home is mainly non-self-destructible plastic bags and vegetable waste, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nga - Hung Vuong High School (Bo Trach district, Quang Binh) has rekindled the idea of recycling these two types of waste.


Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nga received the first prize in environmental protection contest of Central Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.


Think to do, with the determination to turn the idea into reality, Mrs. Nga has conducted a survey questionnaire of 25 classes across the school with a total of 890 students involved in understanding the harmful effects of plastic wastes, and plastic. At the same time, encourage all students to recycle plastic and vegetable wastes at school and home.

On the basis of the survey, Mrs. Nga planned to propagandize and educate people every month to raise the awareness of members and youth in school about plastic wastes, plastic and vegetable wastes. Then build a team of core communicators, reporters are students in propaganda to raise awareness of environmental protection.

Mrs. Nga also proposed to the Executive Committee of the School's Youth Union to organize extra-curricular lessons with the design of various lectures such as using documents, paintings, photos of waste, collection diagrams; Focusing on the harmful effects of waste on the environment contributes to changing awareness and actions for students. Unify with her ideas, the school also organized for students in the school to conduct waste collection and sorting.
