Attending the Workshop, there were numerous representatives of concerned agencies of Vietnam, with about 100 delegates from APEC member economies, the Office for Disaster Risk Reduction in Asia - Pacific, development Program and some UN agencies, Red Cross Association and International Crescent, Japan Development Agency and a number of regional and international organizations.

During two days of work, participants focused discussion on community capacity improvement in the context of climate change, the advanced approach in investment and technology, enhancing community involvement and social subjects, strengthening partnerships for sustainable communities.

In the afternoon of September 18, in Hanoi, Ministry of Foreign Affair coordinated the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Vietnam to hold a ceremony to launch online training program "Ready for Success". Attending the ceremony, there was Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, a member of Central Party, Chairman of Vietnam Women's Union.

This is the first online training course by the project's female leader of the UNDP and Ministry of Foreign Affairs building to dedicate to all women who wish to become candidates in the National Assembly and People's Council elections in Vietnam.
