According Ms.to Paula Verhoeven, Director of Rotterdam Sustainable Development Program, the response to climate change is a long-term problem and a great challenge. Khanh Hoi regulator lake park project has been identified as an important solution of Ho Chi Minh city, because the situation of climate change are complex, make up flood risk chain - dehydration - dry . The Dutch side is ready to cooperate with Ho Chi Minh city in this matter.
In this occasion, Ho Chi Minh Submerge Prevention Program Executive Center and Dutch Water Managemt Authority signed a memorandum of cooperation to strengthen the capacity of Ho Chi Minh Anti-flooding Program Operation Center period 2. In which, the two sides will strengthen exchanges of experiences and cooperation for mutual benefit based on the expertise and experiences of each party. |
