Ho Chi Minh City launched safety assessment application in epidemic prevention
The application helps businesses assess their own safety when returning to normal operation.

In the morning of 5/5, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information and Communications announced the application of safety assessment in the prevention and control of Covid-19 in the city.


The application helps businesses, organizations and business households to self-assess the level of risk or safety when being put into operation in a situation still at risk of Covid-19 epidemic. In addition, the application helps the city's Steering Committee to promptly monitor and evaluate the safety of socio-economic activities in the area.

Now, people can download this application on phones using Android or iOS operating systems, at: https://antoandn.tphcm.gov.vn. The application is built based on the set of criteria for disease prevention issued by the city. When there are new criteria or adjust the content of the criteria, the application will be updated as well.

Mrs. Vo Thi Trung Trinh, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information and Communications, said: “The Department is trying in the fastest time to complete a unified application that can collect all 7 sets of criteria assessing the risk of infection and assessing safety in preventing and fighting Covid-19. Relevant departments and agencies are responsible for reviewing the self-assessment, especially if any unusual information is detected. ”

So far, this application has applied to 5 sets of criteria, Including: a set of indicators to assess the risk of infection in enterprises; Set of criteria with tourism activities; Set of criteria with transportation activities; Sets of criteria for food service business; Set of criteria at wholesale markets, traditional markets (with cage houses), supermarkets and trade centers.

The remaining two sets of criteria will be integrated into this application from May 8, 2020, including: A set of evaluation criteria for preschool and general education institutions; Set of criteria for evaluating safety with activities of museums and monuments; libraries, reading rooms and training organizations of physical training and sport units.
