Ho Chi Minh City Al Innovative Application Project 2020 supports projects in the fields of production, business and life.
The contest "Al Innovative Application Project in Ho Chi Minh City 2020" was organized by Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with Department of Information and Communications, National University of Ho Chi Minh City and Department of Market Development and Science and Technology Enterprises.
This is an event for individuals, groups of individuals, businesses and organizations with innovative projects to apply AI technology in production, business, transportation, finance, healthcare, education, agriculture, and community service.
Participating projects must meet the following conditions: in the stage of finishing the product, not infringing upon intellectual property rights as prescribed, and being responsible for the accuracy of the information in the application.
3 best projects will receive prizes worth 100 million VND/ prize and 5 projects winning incentives will receive 50 million VND / prize. In addition, the finalists are presented to investors and have the opportunity to receive investment packages for the next stage.

The organization Board started receiving applications from 5/5 to the end of 7/31/2020. The Preliminary Round will take place in August 2020 to select up to 50 projects participating in the training course to help perfect and practice the skills of presentation before the selection council.
The 20 projects that will make it to the semi-final round will participate in the Incubation Program with a maximum funding of 200,000,000 VND / project for no more than 3 months.
The final round and awards ceremony are expected to take place during the Ho Chi Minh City Innovation and Startup Week - WHISE 2020.
