At the training session, experts disseminated and introduced the new contents and provisions of Circular No. 17 of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and shared experiences on implementing technology level assessments in Ho Chi Minh City and other localities.
According to Mr. Nguyen Khac Thanh, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, assessing the level and capacity of production technology of enterprises is the analysis, identification of the current status, efficiency of using and exploiting production technology and assess the ability to organize and exploit existing technology, the ability to absorb, master, research, develop and innovate production technologies of enterprises.
“Appreciating the level and capacity of production technology of enterprises will be the basis for the State Administration to unify the database and technology level for the whole country, thereby setting the first strategic orientation investing in rational and scientific technology development ”, Mr. Thanh emphasized.
In the context of the current integration, businesses must constantly innovate technologies and apply advanced technologies and new technologies to production to improve product quality and enhance product competitiveness.
According to Mr. Nguyen Vinh Du, Deputy Director of Center for Applied Science and Technology Progress (SIHUB), the evaluation of production technology level and capacity plays a very important and necessary role in enterprises. Through this assessment, businesses build a growth model based on investment, technology innovation, new product development, product quality improvement, and a long-term strategy to improve competitiveness capacity. |
