The flood warning device was made by Le Tuan Kiet (class 10C5, Pham Van Sang High School, Hoc Mon district) with the support of Le Thi Thuy Tien and Lam My Ngan (class 10C8).

Kiet shared, at the place where I live, during the flooding or rainy season, the houses near the river banks or having low ground will be flooded. If the incident occurs during the day, people can detect and notify each other to move their belongings in the daytime, and also occur at night or when they are away, causing great property damage.

According to Kiet, when the water level rises, the device will recognize and notify people. At the same time, the device adds a function to automatically pump water from the flooded area to the drainage system such as tanks, rivers and lakes to reduce flooding.

"The advantage of this machine is that it does not need to use electricity, only the battery, so in the event of a power outage does not affect the ability to operate. In addition, the machine can also produce unique sounds, such as "Flooded water, flooded water" or "flooded water", Kiet added.
