Mr. Pham Quang Vinh, who regularly interacts with businesses to advise on AI application solutions, said, 3 questions he is often asked: Is the solution smart? Are solutions like a human? What are the benefits for businesses when applying AI? In fact, in Vietnam today, new businesses apply AI at an experimental level.

This mindset is quite similar to the survey that Accenture published on June 8, 2022. From the report, Mr. Pham Quang Vinh pointed out, more than 60% of companies operating in the new banking and finance sector are testing AI. Businesses in other industries also look to AI with an attitude of exploration and experimentation.

Only 12% of businesses use AI at an adult level, meaning that they really consider AI as a solution in business operations. That gives these companies 50% more revenue than their non-AI competitors. Despite the bright future, in reality, "42% of professionals at enterprises do not understand the risk of being left behind without access to AI."

Viettel's representative also mentioned 3 points to note for businesses that intend to apply AI in production and business activities.

First, businesses need to get out of the loop, without the improvement of AI applications. Enterprises need to be skillful in the application, selection of teams and application processes to contribute to optimizing operations and bringing the highest efficiency.

Second, businesses need to understand the capabilities of AI, the value it can bring and the compatibility of the business to make decisions about which process to invest in.

Third, decide to choose an AI provider that owns technology, has human potential and strong enough information technology infrastructure. The peculiarity of AI is that it must be continuously trained to create intelligent value for businesses.
