At the conference, there were Mr. Pham Cong Tac - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Mr. Pham S - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Deputy Director of Department of Science and Culture, Main Office covered. On the part of the conference organization agency, there were Mr. Dinh Huu Phi - Director of the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam, Comrade Vo Thi Hao - Director of the Lam Dong provincial Department of Science and Technology.

The conference aims to summarize and evaluate the state management of IP at central and local levels in the period of 2019-2020 and exchange and discuss the orientations in IP activities in 2021 and the following years. The conference also mentioned the main contents of the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Intellectual Property; report on results of 01 year implementation of the National Intellectual Property Strategy (Strategy); final report on the Intellectual Property Development Program for the period of 2016-2020, major orientations of the Intellectual Property Development Program to 2030, and some other important contents.

On the basis of synthesizing and evaluating the implementation of the Strategy 2020, in order to promote and improve the effectiveness of the Strategy's implementation in the following years in the locality, the conference proposed groups of specific solutions to develop implementation in the coming time, in order to affirm the role of intellectual property in the current deep integration period.
