The program aims to propagate world IP, the role of IP with development of science and technology, economics - society of the country, especially the creative spirit in youth, raising awareness of Viet Nam youth in the capture and exploitation of IP rights - development tools, international economic integration of the country.

This is one of the activity chains of the Week "Intellectual property promotes creative innovation" with the message "young creativity" in order to propagandize and promote creativity further in young, young union members for developing science and technology, contributing to economic and social development, enriching for themselves and community properly.

Mr. Ta Quang Minh – Chief Department, Intellectual Property Department said: IP is becoming a more important role for economic and social development of the nation and is gradually becoming a common concern of the whole world. In particular, infringe problem of the intellectual property rights tend to increase in Viet Nam. Counterfeit goods, pirated goods are rampant like today. Businesses and individuals increasingly pay attention and carefully prepare to protect their intellectual properties.

In particular, the Week "Intellectual property promotes creative innovation", Department of Intellectual Property supported, consulted establishment of free ownership for organizations and individuals in 03 locations, including Department of Intellectual Property, representative Office of Intellectual Property Department in Ho Chi Minh city and in Da Nang city.
