Fashionable clothes and shoes are one of the essential items with high consumption compared to other items. Therefore, not only at centers and large stores but also at markets and retail points in Hanoi City, clothing items are sold in a variety of varieties. However, at these sales points, according to the information on the product, the labels are printed quite carelessly, with almost no information about origin. The sellers themselves do not know where the products they are selling come from.

Not only fashion items but also many food products in the market today are also sold widely but with ambiguous labels. According to consumer feedback, recently on social networks, a number of products and processed foods have been widely advertised for sale, such as wild honey polygonum multiflora tablets, Solanum procumbens honey, turmeric and bee honey tablets, soybean sprouts, Mattcha red ginseng soybean sprout tablets, Crinum latifolium tablets, Panax notoginseng tablets, honey turmeric starch... produced by a number of facilities in Ha Nam province show signs of not ensuring food safety. The origin of production materials has unclear signs, the product label only has the name and expiry date, and there is no information about the production unit or ingredients that make up the product.

In particular, if the customer wants to print the product's ingredients, he or she can order the label and stick it to the product (the production facility only provides the box and insides of the product).

Organizations and individuals producing, exporting, and importing determine and record the origin of their goods to ensure honesty, accuracy, and compliance with legal regulations on origin of exported and imported goods, goods produced in Vietnam or international commitments that Vietnam participates in. Expressed by one of the following phrases: “made in”; “manufactured in”; “manufacturing country”; "origin"; "made by"; “product of” with the name of the country/territory producing the goods or written according to the law on origin of goods.

If the origin cannot be determined, write down the place where the final step to complete the goods was performed, expressed by one of the following phrases or combination of phrases: "assembled at"; “bottled at”; “mix at”; “complete at”; “packed at”; “labeled at” with the name of the country/territory where the final step to complete the goods is performed. Do not abbreviate the name of the country/territory where the goods are produced or where the final step to complete the goods is performed.
