In 2024, the I-Star Award continues to be held with 4 groups of participants. The first is start-up and innovation businesses, which aim to promote business ideas based on exploiting intellectual property, technologies and new business models. Next are innovative solutions that have been effective in solving community problems. Third are media works about innovation and startup and finally, individuals and organizations that have made positive contributions to innovation and startup activities.

In addition to honoring, the I-Star Award is also a valuable opportunity for individuals and organizations to connect, learn and share experiences. Over the past 6 years (2018 - 2023), I-Star has successfully recognized and honored the values ​​​​from Startups, businesses, press organizations and individuals/organizations that have contributed to city’s innovation activities.

Startup and innovation are important aspects of building value based on exploiting intellectual property, technologies and new business models. This is considered the "key" that opens up the outstanding development of businesses in the 4.0 industrial revolution. This becomes even more important in the context that Ho Chi Minh City is becoming a center of startup and innovation with many exciting activities.

I-Star 2024 is expected to receive more attention and participation from agencies, businesses, individuals, organizations, because this is an important driving force for sustainable development of the startup and creative community, contributing to promoting the prosperity of the City and the whole country.

The I-Star Award 2024 will accept entries until August 31, 2024. It is expected that the Closing and Awarding Ceremony will be held within the framework of Ho Chi Minh City Innovation and Startup Week 2024 (WHISE 2024) will take place in November 2024, with 12 awards - each target group was selected to award 03 equal prizes, including: Certificate of Recognition, Souvenir Cup and bonuses from the Organization Board.
