The Mekong Delta (MRD) possesses high biodiversity with more than 500 species of fish. Among them, Siluriformes, also known as the pangasius, is a very diverse set of fish in the bony fish group. This set of fish is important in the development of the fisheries economy with many species raised on a large scale to provide food fish.
On March 14-15, 2024, Tay Ninh Agricultural Extension Center organized a trip to study new agricultural models and apply high technology in production in Lam Dong province.
Currently, the widespread use of herbicides to protect crops causes negative impacts on human health and the living environment.
Researchers Pham Van Tuan (Southern Center for Planning and Investigation of Groundwater Resources) and colleagues at the Delft Water Education Research Institute, the Netherlands, jointly evaluated the impact of water resource variability implicit in people's lives in the Mekong Delta.

In the Summer-Autumn crop of 2023, the Agricultural Service Center of Son Tinh district organized a demonstration of newly converted corn varieties on land to plant cassava in Ha Nhai Bac village, Tinh Ha commune, which brought positive results.
Currently, in parallel with the summer-autumn rice harvest, farmers in Ha Tinh have used tractors with straw rolling machines to increase the usability of the machine, bringing in a significant source of income.
Xe Nga village, My Luong commune (Yen Lap district, Phu Tho province) is a mountainous area where the climate, natural ecosystem, environment and stream water flowing from the ravine have relatively low, very high temperatures, convenient for raising cold water fish species.
As a city-level science and technology research mission, chaired and implemented by the Center for High-Tech Agricultural Research and Development. The study was carried by MSc. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien. Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology accepted it in 2022.
