On May 15, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations held a meeting to celebrate Vietnam Science and Technology Day May 18.

Attending were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Cong, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, former leaders of the Son La Union of Associations in different periods, members of the Executive Committee, representatives of leaders of member associations and officials, Provincial Union officials.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the tradition of Vietnam Science and Technology Day, the results the Association achieved in 2023 and implementated tasks in 2024. On this occasion, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Cong congratulated the scientific and technological intellectual delegates, recognizing the contributions of the intellectual team in the process of building and developing Son La province.

President of the Son La Union of Associations Pham Thi Ha affirmed that with the spirit of inheriting and promoting the enthusiasm, responsibility and achievements of the leadership classes of the Son La Union of Associations during the process of building and develop the Union of Associations; The team of officials and employees of the Son La Union will always strive to successfully complete all assigned tasks, worthy of its role as a socio-political organization of scientific and technological intellectuals of the province.
