Printable Circuits for Novice Hackers
Researchers at Georgia Tech have developed a way to print circuits using inkjet printers, saving a significant amount of both time and money.

The technique, called instant inkjet circuits, is intended to be accessible to novice hackers and non-technical enthusiasts. The method uses about $300 worth of off-the-shelf equipment and does not require heating for ink placement. The arbitrary-shaped conductors can be printed onto either flexible or rigid materials in as little as 60 seconds, and were designed using desktop drawing software. Once printed, they can be attached to electronic components using conductive tape or silver epoxy adhesives, allowing the tinkerer to build a full-scale prototype in only a few hours.
