Mr. Le Quoc Cuong, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information and Communications, said the competition was divided into two main groups:

Group 1 - AI Challenge contest with the tooic "AI with smart traffic", organized as a science competition in which contestants will develop AI algorithms to solve problems of Ho Chi Minh City traffic.

Group 2 - AI Application Solution (AI-Solution) for commercialized solutions; scientific research works ready to be transferred or already transferred; innovation start-up projects have been applied to reality; products and solutions have been applied in building e-government and smart cities. Do not limit the field of research works, solutions, projects in this group.

Objects are agencies, units, businesses and individuals who are Vietnamese inside and outside the country; foreigners are living, studying, working in Ho Chi Minh City.

Candidates will be given access to training, mentoring and incubation support activities with funding for incubation support when winning a prize. Projects in the Final Round are presented to investors and have the opportunity to receive investment packages for the next phase.

The contest consists of 2 rounds: Preliminary round takes place from 5 - 15/8 and the final round takes place from 15 - 30/8. The Organization Board will award two first prizes worth 100 million VND / prize, two second prizes of 30 million VND / prize and two third prizes worth 20 million VND / prize.
