Start-up opportunities from creative challenges with artificial intelligence
Startups will have the opportunity to participate in an online 3-month training program, a support service package worth 500 million VND and an investment that does not require a maximum share of 200 million VND.


The program "Innovative challenge with artificial intelligence technology - AI Accelerator Challenge 2021" (AAC 2021) organized by VSV Foundation under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Australian Embassy officially held Registration opens until 0:00 on March 25, 2021.

This is an accelerator bootcamp program specially designed for startups with innovative products based on artificial intelligence technology, meeting the practical needs of the market.

With the topic "AI in Pandemic - Adapting to the new normal" ("Artificial intelligence in the pandemic - Adapting to a new normal period"), the program is organized with the goal of searching, incubating and broadcasting developing the most potential AI technology applications in a variety of fields, including: finance, commerce, electronics, telecommunications, manufacturing, agriculture, health, education, transportation, smart cities. Startups will have the opportunity to participate in an online training program lasting 3 monthly, support service package worth 500 million VND and investment does not require maximum shares up to 200 million VND.

Mr. Andrew Barne, Interim Representative of the Australian Embassy in Vietnam shared, “Vietnam has achieved proud results in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through funding an initiative to promote innovative applications using AI, Australia is realizing its strong commitment to assist Vietnam in its efforts to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic and to recover the economy in the long term.”

 “The Vietnamese government is trying to implement many activities to cope with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, in which innovation and application of advanced technology are considered as one of the key factors to increase the resilience of businesses and restore the economy. In that context, AI is one of the core technologies promising to create a revolution in many key socio-economic fields of Vietnam such as health, education, commerce, finance and agriculture”- Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui The Duy shared.

ACC 2021 is part of a four-year Australian $ 11 million AusInnovation Program (2018 - 2022) with the goal of strengthening innovation systems and moving towards the digital economy of the future of Vietnam. The program is co-sponsored by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and InnovationXchange (IXC), managed by the Australian National Agency for Scientific and Industrial Research and and strategic partnership with the Ministry of Science and Technology.
