Temporary suspension of import of used machineries and equipments, technology lines

To prevent the import of used machineries, equipments, technology lines into our country that other countries removed because of the backwardness, poor quality, environmental pollution, on 06/9 /2012, Ministry of Science and Technology issued a notice of suspension of imports of used machineries and equipments, technology lines.

Accordingly, Ministry of Science and Technology interrupted import of used machineries, equipments, technology lines that China competent departments announced the removal (2,255 enterprises) under 18 fields, professions such as production of iron, steel, alloy steel, coal; metallurgy of copper, lead, zinc, electrolytic aluminum; production of calcium carbide, chemical fiber, cement, flat glass; production of paper, wine - alcohol, monosodium glutamate (MSG), acid citric; tanning, dyeing and printing. From 15-9-2012, according to suggestion of Ministry of Science and Technology, lot of the used machineries, equipments, technology lines originated from China only continued to import if Ministry of Science and Technology confirmed that equipments and technologies were not interrupted to import...
The suspension prevented the importation of backward equipments and technologies caused environmental pollution from China's enterprises. |
