Why do people have different intelligence?
Scientists have found a modified gene related to human intelligence, help to explain why humans have different intelligence.

Although genetics is not the only factor deciding the human intellect, but through IQ tests and brain of 20,000 people from North America, Europe and Australia, a native of Europe, more than 200 scientists from 100 organizations worldwide working together have found that HMGA2 gene variation are commonly found in larger brains and gain the higher IQ.

Normally the gene is composed of DNA, including basic chemicals such as A (adenine), C (cytosine), T (thymine) and G (guanine), combined together in different combinations along a double helix. The variants HMGA2 gene in the smarter human brain has two substances C and without substance T. IQ tests, people with this variant gene is often achieving a higher score, that is 1.3 times higher than the normal gene. So the scientists also call it "smart gene".

With this discovery also opens the way for further research on the structural changes occurring in brain disorders such as autism, dementia and schizophrenia.
