In 2017, Vinh Phuc implemented the Program of Research and Application of Science and Technology (S & T): "Developing pilot models linking production along the value chain, applying high technology to products, vegetables and fruits in Vinh Phuc province" for the period of 2017 - 2020. This is an important breakthrough in restructuring agricultural production and rural economy in Vinh Phuc province.
Within the scope of the S & T Research Program, from September 2017 to February 2018, 2.4 hectares of fruit and vegetable crops will be planted including Chili Hybrid, Sweet Similis, Pumpkin fields in Binh Xuyen, Vinh Tuong and Tam Duong districts.
Center for Agricultural Experimental Biology - Institute of Agricultural Genetics will guide and transfer 06 high technology cultivation techniques in accordance with VIETGAP standards for manufacturing enterprises.
