In the afternoon of December 11, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) has announced and transferred the foot and mouth virus to businesses used to produce vaccines.
|
Accordingly, this is the first time the state agencies and enterprises in the Vietnam Veterinary Medicine jointly researched and launched the vaccine for foot and mouth disease can be applied immediately into practice. Specifically, this is type O virus with the name "RAHO6 / FMD / O-135" under the copyright of Regional Animal Health Department VI under the Department of Animal Health.
Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong said "This is a very encouraging start, building capacity, experiences and proactive science and technology in the research and production of other vaccines in veterinary medicine." |
