Launching the national award for energy efficiency in industry

On November 20, the national energy efficiency award for Industry 2017 was officially launched.

The prizes awarded by Vietnamese Association for Science and Technology of Energy Efficiency and Conservation with the support of German Development Cooperation (GIZ), consisting of 2 categories, such as solution award of typical energy saving and innovative energy saving solutions.
Participants are industrial enterprises with an energy consumption of 300 TOE / year (equivalent to 2,000,000 kWh / year) and have implemented energy conservation and efficiency measures for the period of 2011-2016.
Mr. Do Huu Hao - President of VECEA - said that the award focused on energy use in the industrial sector with the potential to save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions such as steel, cement, chemicals, thermal power, seafood and beverages production and etc.
The winners will receive certificates from Ministry of Industry and Trade / VECEA and be honored on the mass media. |
