Speaking at the workshop, Bayer Limited Company shared future-oriented sustainable agricultural practice solutions (Forwardfarm) focusing on high-quality healthy seeds, integrated care processes (flooding irrigation techniques alternate Drying (AWD), optimizing the amount of fertilizer used, instructions for using plant protection products safely and effectively, using advanced cluster seeding and spraying techniques) help reduce the amount of seeds sown sowing, saving water, optimizing input materials, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving resistance to pests and weeds, protecting crops, increasing productivity and quality of rice grains, increasing income import for farmers. In addition, Bayer also implements health care issues for farmers through programs to improve knowledge and training for women's and family health care.

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. To Viet Chau, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation, said that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has many specific solutions, policies and techniques to improve rice production efficiency, ensuring rice production, income for rice growers, sustainable development of the rice industry. To contribute to achieving the above goal, Vietnam needs to make great efforts not only from the Government but also from the private sector, businesses, and direct producers. In which, one of the key priority solutions is to promote investment attraction in the form of public-private partnerships (PPP).
