At the reception, Mr. Taihee Lee thanked the Deputy Minister for taking the time to welcomed the delegation and discussed cooperation activities between KDI Institute and the Ministry of Science and Technology recently. Mr. Taihee Lee said that in the previous period, KDI Institute coordinated with the Department of Technology Application and Development to implement a number of activities on building the VTRS Technology Evaluation System (period of 2014-2016); In cooperation with Office 844 - Department of Science and Technology Enterprise and Market Development, there was a report summarizing the completion of the KSP Program for the period of 2022-2023 in Vietnam with the topic "Innovative startup ecosystem in Vietnam."

Next, in phase 2 of the KSP plus Program, KDI Institute will continue to implement the KSP 23/24 Program for the period of 2023-2024 in Vietnam with the National Technology Innovation Fund (NATIF) within the framework of the Project using non-refundable ODA capital, expected to launch in October-November 2023 with the theme "Cooperation in sharing knowledge and enhancing the capacity of organizations supporting innovation and new technologies for small and medium enterprises in Vietnam."

Mr. Taihee Lee expressed his wish to receive support from the leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology on this cooperation program between the KDI Institute and units under the Ministry to effectively implement the 23/24 KSP Program.

On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Giang thanked Mr. Taihee Lee and the delegation for visiting and working with the Ministry of Science and Technology. The Deputy Minister highly appreciated the cooperative activities between KDI Institute and the Ministry of Science and Technology in the recent period; At the same time, we request that the KDI Institute continue to support and cooperate with the Ministry of Science and Technology within the framework of the 23/24 KSP Program in Vietnam in the coming time at the NATIF Foundation and a number of units under the Ministry to improve management and professional capacity of management agencies as well as enhancing the technological innovation capacity of businesses.
