The Ministry of Science and Technology has published TCVN 11041-1:2017 Organic agriculture – Part 1: General requirements for production, processing and labeling of organic agricultural products (belonging to the standards TCVN 11041 series of Organic argiculture). For spices or spice extracts, used alone or in combination, not to exceed 2% by weight of the product, only “seasonings”, “seasonings” or “mixed seasonings” are required. For herbs or parts of herbs used alone or in combination but not exceeding 2% by weight of the product, simply write “herb” or “mixed herb”.
