Recently, the Center for Conformity Certification (QUACERT), Directorate, Metrology of Standards and Quality, has surveyed and evaluated group 2 products and goods managed by the Ministry of Science and Technology according to the corresponding QCVN, implementing regulations on conformity certification and regulation conformity announcement; Group 1 products and goods are encouraged to apply standard conformity declaration according to TCVN or apply according to basic standards.

As a result, in the first quarter of 2024, the unit surveyed and evaluated 129 establishments with 950 product samples of group 2 goods including: gasoline, internal combustion engine lubricants, children's toys and electrical equipment - electronics, steel for concrete reinforcement and a number of products not under the management responsibility of the Ministry of Science and Technology, such as wet tissue, fertilizer, watches, eyeglasses, gasoline and some other items belonging to other ministries nationwide.

Survey results show that the majority of internal combustion engine lubricants, steel for concrete reinforcement, children's toys and electrical and electronic equipment are traded with labels (sub-labels) in accordance with regulations, with labels attached conformity trademark. However, there are still 10 models of children's toys, 3 models of electrical and electronic equipment, 2 models of LED lights, 2 models of watches, 3 models of eyeglasses with labeling content that does not comply with regulations; 4 children's toy models do not have the CR trademark on the goods, and etc.
