The competition for finding innovative solutions in the public sector 2024 (Gov.Star 2024) was organized for the first time by Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, to find solutions, innovation models, and processes, technologies that can be transferred and applied to management, administration, supervision, enforcement, forecasting, and etc. helps solve problems in managing public affairs activities of management agencies, schools, hospitals and People's Committees of districts, wards and communes in Ho Chi Minh City.
Selected models and solutions will receive financial support and incubation to complete and introduce to departments and localities for practical pilot implementation. In addition, project implementation teams will be trained, mentored, and incubated to perfect solutions, products, business models, and etc. to meet application needs in the public sector.
Criteria for project evaluation includes creativity, implementation capacity, economic efficiency or social impact, potential market, technology application and business model.
Contest participants are individuals, project groups, and businesses with innovative solutions that can be applied to the management and administration of public affairs activities at state management agencies and schools, hospital, and etc.
